Main mission of the Secretariat General

The major responsibility of the Secretariat General at the parliament is represented by steering the technical, administrative, and financial works in addition to provision of  correct and accurate information , and presenting all the services and facilities that are needed to enable the MPs in practicing their parliamentary tasks effectively and efficiently in all matters that related to the internal and external activities of The House .

Since the formation of the first Legislative House in Jordan in 1929, the vision was obvious in creating a functional structure tackling the embodiment of parliamentary administration in the House , and as a result, The Secretariat General was established who started ,since its establishment, to organize the administrative apparatus and setting out variant directorates, besides, creating required jobs and identifying their tasks.
